“I start every project to finish the motherfucker. As long as people’s perspective of me doesn’t keep me from doing what I want to do, it doesn’t matter.”

“Judging a person does not define who they are. It defines who you are.”
” I wish I didn’t have to show up in these dresses — we look like demi-gods when we show up. I want to be able to run around and not have my feet feeling like they’re going to fall off ”

I think that it’s awful when people misinterpret my being uncomfortable as ‘I don’t want to be here.’ It’s really the opposite — I’m too concerned. I absolutely love it so much. I don’t expect to seem cool to everyone; nor do I want to be. I think that’s the opposite of the definition of cool. So I don’t care at all. It’s like, “you absolutely despise me and you don’t even know me.”

”I have been criticized a lot for not looking perfect in every photograph. I get some serious shit about it, but I’m not embarrassed about it. I’m proud of it.”
“Hateful, racist and ignorant remarks. When I hear people criticize without knowing the context, it makes me boil inside.”

I don’t like it when people dismiss Twilight as puppy love or Snow White as a fairytale. Why should something be a less valuable depiction of the human condition because it’s about a 17-year-old girl? Why should something be less credible as a story because it’s about a princess? I don’t think of those parts as lesser parts.
